With Sara Ferdeghini as an owner, founder and Director, Ferdeghini Comunicazione has a motivated and competent team in addition to a pool of professional specialists in every aspect of offline and online communication, all of them experts in travel, hospitality and lifestyle.

Before becoming the owner of the agency ten years ago, Sara has built 13 years of experience in the field.

She graduated with a degree in Public Relations and a Master’s Degree in Social Media Marketing & Web Communication from the Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione, IULM.

For two years, she worked at Ventura S.p.A. as head of the Press Office for the two high-end tour operators, specialising in long-haul travel and sailing holidays.

For eleven years, she headed up the communication department (corporate and financial communication included) of Gruppo Ventaglio, a listed company leader in  the tourism industry active in: tour operating, hotel management, airlines, distribution, diving and entertainment.

Ten years ago she set up her own agency which assists a relevant number of  companies operating in the travel sector in communication, marketing, media relations and events.

Her outstanding reputation in the market is integrated by an unwavering passion for communication and travel. One of her strong suits is the ability to harness the potential of people and projects: Sara  has  strong competencies  for establishing connections, creating networking opportunities, and subsequently forming a network that benefits companies while respecting people.

FUN FACT: If she had not decided to pursue a career in public relations, she would have liked to  become a professional athlete. Sport has been her life-blood for many years – volleyball primarily – and she still plays, time permitting. This team game has been  a life lessonfor relying on psychological resources. Sport is passion, dedication, preparation, hard work, and a feeling of achievement: values that apply to all areas of life, both professional and private.

Fascinated by the campaigns of Emanuele Pirella, she enrolled in IULM and graduated in Public Relations, specialising in Consumer and Advertising Management.

By sheer coincidence, she accepted an internship in the Press and External Relations Office of Gruppo Ventaglio headed by Sara Ferdeghini: this was a great training ground for her, with 16 brands to oversee and a professional relationship set to last.

In 2007 she moved to Sydney, Australia, where she worked in event management.

On her return to Italy, she worked with various companies on communication projects: she initially provided her services to Gardaland, and then discovered that the luxury world was the right next step for her, working with Krug, Veuve Clicquot, Breitling and TW Steel. Her experience in luxury has involved assisting a chain of 5-star hotels in Italy and award-winning restaurants: Villa Crespi on Lake Orta, Il San Pietro in Positano, La Posta Vecchia in Palo Laziale, Hassler and D.O.M in Rome and Il Pellicano in Porto Ercole.

In 2015, her path crosed again with Sara Ferdeghini, and they embarked on another adventure. They were guided by two passions: travel, interpreted as discovery and an opportunity for personal growth, and communication, a powerful and complex tool that is ever changing.

FUN FACT: Veronica is the beating heart of the agency’s luxury section. She knows everything about local coaches, personal shoppers, champagnes and renowned dishes, but since no one has just one side, do not make her angry. She could shake off her designer

With over 15 years of wide experience in travel industry Camilla Maderna is Senior account at Ferdeghini Comunicazione since 2023. A skilled editorial and commercial profile, Camilla has held senior positions with two of the most important player of Italian travel trade media Travel Quotidiano and TTG Italia – where she played a key role acting as advertising sales agent, content creator, journalist, marketing & event specialist, media planner (offline and digital), editorial advisor.

A strong passion for communication, cultivated during the academic studies in literature and theatre and then turned into a job, has brought her to build a strong professional network in the tourism sector. Throughout the years, she worked as a ghostwriter for the most relevant key players of the Italian travel industry and as a marketing & communication consultant for some lifestyle, luxury and fashion brands.

Creativity, teamwork and adaptability represent her most remarkable soft skills. Skilled at interact with the customers solving their problems, she has found in Federghini Comunicazione the ideal place where combining her passions with the agency’s values.
